There are many types of medical visas depending on the country. For instance, you can get a B-2 visa for treatment in the USA. To qualify, you must provide evidence that you traveled only for the treatment, confirm the time period of the stay, and have a valid passport, as well as needed funds.

The next example is the Indian medical purpose visa. It is valid for 60 days from the entry date and enables a triple entry to the country. You must have a valid passport, photos, and a confirmation from a hospital to apply for it.
