Uganda eVisa – Basic information

The electronic visa for the Republic of Uganda is an official visa introduced in 2016 by the Uganda government to speed up the application and entry process to the country.

Uganda eVisa types

You can choose between 2 available types of visas to Uganda.

Single-entry visa

This visa type allows you to stay in Uganda for 90 days. As it is a single-entry visa, you can enter the country only once with it. After that, if you want to visit Uganda again, you need to obtain a new visa.

East Africa Online Visa

East Africa visa is a multiple-entry electronic visa. Thanks to it, you can visit Uganda, Rwanda, and Kenya for up to 90 days. This tourist visa allows you to visit the country numerous times during the visa validity period.

Uganda eVisa application form

Uganda Online Visa Validity

The validity period depends on the visa type. A single-entry and multiple-entries Uganda visas are valid for 90 days from the date you enter the Republic of Uganda.

Remember that every applicant should have the required documents in each case, including a valid passport (minimum 6 months).

Transit information
