The Norwegian passport application process

Only Norwegian citizens may obtain a Norwegian passport. In order to apply, they should:

1. Book an appointment online. Find the nearest passport office by the search box available on the special website.
2. Go to the appointment and complete the passport application form. Provide basic information, such as name, surname, date of birth, height, phone number, etc.
3. Cover the service fee with one of the available payment methods.
4. Wait for the approval and receive your passport.

What is more, you need to bring your previous passport in case of renewal. Don’t forget about an identification document to prove your identity. There is no need to bring a passport photo as an adult; the photo will be taken at the embassy.
