Types of Lao electronic visas

The eVisa for Laos comes in one type. It is a single-entry tourist visa issued for a maximum of 30 days stay in Laos. The validity time counts from the date of approval, which is 60 days (two months).

Requirements for Lao visa online application

The requirements for a Laos visa are not many. To start the Laos tourist visa application process, you must prepare the following documents:

• a photograph of a valid passport bio-data page
• a picture of an applicant’s face (mobile or PC camera-taken photo is accepted)
• a complete flight ticket.

A passport is also requested when crossing the Laos border. Make sure it will not expire in less than 6 months. Print the approved visa and keep both documents for border control.

Remember that to obtain an online visa, your country of origin must be listed among other eligible places. If this requirement is met, you can complete the form. Make sure that the provided information is correct. Otherwise, the approval time may be elongated, or even the application can be rejected.

You can travel with Laos eVisa only for tourism purposes. Business-related reasons and others are forbidden.
