Bahrain Visa for Pakistan
The Kingdom of Bahrain (Bahrain) is an archipelago of islands located in the Persian Gulf. Together with Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates, it forms the Gulf Cooperation Council. Since 1981, the GCC countries have been cooperating to strengthen their economy and security.
Although Bahrain is the smallest country in the Middle East, it is one of the favorite holiday spots of international tourists. The country has much to offer – rich cultural heritage of ancient trade routes, relaxing gateways on sandy beaches, and exciting adventures on the golden deserts. Every year thousands of travelers decide to visit Bahrain!
However, before you leave for the journey to Bahrain, make sure you have all the necessary documentation. Although some foreigners may visit Bahrain visa-free, other travelers will be required to obtain a visa in order to cross the Borders of Bahrain – then it is essential to find out if you are eligible for an online visa or a regular visa.
Do Pakistani citizens need a visa for Bahrain?
All Pakistani citizens who wish to travel to Bahrain must obtain a suitable visa. It is possible to issue a regular visa at the nearest Embassy, but the entire procedure will involve waiting in lengthy queues and participating in a complicated interview. However, Pakistan citizens may also apply for a visa online.
The electronic visa, also known as e-Visa, is a travel permit that may be easily obtained from the comfort of your home. All you need to proceed with the visa application is a working electronic device (laptop, tablet, smartphone) and 15 minutes of your free time. Since 2016, all citizens of Pakistan have been eligible to apply online for the Bahrain tourist visa.
Note: A visa is not required while traveling to Bahrain for the citizens of the GCC countries only. Nevertheless, they must submit the essential documentation – a valid visa and a residence permit.
Types of Bahrain online visa available for Pakistani passport holders

Multiple-entry visa – 90 days
If you would like to spend a longer time in Bahrain, you may apply for a multiple-entry online visa with extended validity. Once authorized, the permit should stay valid for 90 days from its issuing date. With the document, you can spend up to 90 days in Bahrain for reasons related to tourism and business.
